August Roundup

August 30, 2018

Another month has been and gone, and as usual is has been a jam-packed busy one for us at River & Bear.

Street Food Events

We completed our final two street food events: the third annual Devon Street Food Festival and the first ever Welsh Street Food Awards. We teamed up with the British Street Food and saw Paternoster Farm and Assembly go through to the British Street Food Finals in London at the end of September.

Our PR Team Doing Bits

This month, our lovely PR girls have gained coverage in The Sun Online, BBC Wales, BBC Radio Wales, The Exeter Daily and The Metro Online. And this is just a selection. Just a typical month for R&B.

We had a ‘roar’some press day

The launch of Jurassic Kingdom has been well awaited, and didn’t we great quite the scare?! The press day saw BBC Wales, Wales Online, Made In Cardiff, It’s On Cardiff, Wales 24/7, and bloggers and influencers come through the doors early to check it out.

Hola to Ola

We’re now proud to be working with client, Ola, to promote their presence in the city at this year’s Cardiff Pride March with a huge pop of colour… Dubbed the ‘Indian Uber’ due to it being the biggest taxi app in India – the ride-hailing app has launched in Cardiff to rival Uber.

UK Rum Festival

To assist in the marketing and press for their last festival, UK Rum Festivals have brought us on to help them get Exeter Rum Festival the attraction it deserves. We have grown the press/guest list, gained local and regional coverage and executed a social media campaign.

Lock In

For the second year running, we were approached to do the Kingsgate Student Lock In in Huddersfield. Last year, we saw over 4000 students through the doors to come and grab a bargain. Let’s see what this year holds…
